History

The Listings Resource Guide started in 1989, and continues in its 22nd edition today. This is a project of the Gay Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cincinnati, and is produced by local vendors and volunteers.

Timing?

  • AD SALES begin in January, with a two-month 10% off early bird discount.
  • MARCH 1, early bird discount ends.
  • MAY 1st — Sales END. Ads may accepted after this date if there is room, and may incur a 10% rush fee.
  • BOOK PUBLICATION is at Cincinnati Pride festival, which is generally the beginning of July.

Staff

The Listings Guide managing director  is Fred Martens, of Martens’ Art (graphic & web design). Fred has a twenty-one year history producing this book and the book’s web site.

The Listings graphic designer is Art Hasinski, of Hasinski Design. Art has a three-year history as the Listings book cover designer, as well as the designer for the book’s interior  and the Listings ads and associated materials.

Diana Martens is sales manager for the Listings. New to the 2011 book,  Diana brings past sales experience, plus many years in sales.
